Synopsis
Charles, a retiree, finds a new lease on life when he answers an ad for a private detective and becomes the mole in an undercover investigation at a retirement home. Based on the Chilean documentary “El Agente Topo”. A remake of El agente topo (2020). As I write this, I’m currently on episode 5. This series is hilarious, thought-provoking, and honestly, mind-blowing. Ted Danson is brilliant as usual. The rest of the cast, interesting and fascinating in this “Who Did It” series. I’m equally into the criminal aspect as I am into the human aspect of loneliness. Each of us, regardless of age, brings something new to the table. I feel the warmth of the message without all the nonsense. The comedy is beautifully woven in such a way that the laughs are genuine. I hope this series continues the momentum that I really enjoy so much. Bravo to the writers, actors, and directors who have made the show a gem.
