Gary Oldman was rumored to be cast, but he was replaced by Kevin Kline
Synopsis
It follows Catherine Ravenscroft, a documentary journalist for television whose job is to expose wrongdoing in long-respected institutions. In many episodes, Jonathon uses the same lens throughout the series, a medium-length telephoto lens. Such a lens would not be able to focus on subjects close up, like a selfie with Sasha or in the bedroom with Catherine.
The film starts off irritatingly uncertain, but slowly develops into an intriguing story
I don’t know if Alfonso has an enemy on IMDb, that explains the brutal and unfair 1-star ratings, but they are completely unwarranted. At first glance, this doesn’t seem like a complete mystery, but more of a tragic drama. But you start to sense that there is more to this story than the seemingly obvious good and bad characters.
The cockroach situation is disturbing and eye-opening
It gets darker and more complex with each episode. So much so that I felt I had to come back here to edit my original review and add stars. Now it’s time for the gray cat.
Curious, mischievous, funny, and affectionate
A minor detail, but this may be the first show I’ve ever seen that depicts a true cat/human relationship. Like a cat, he’s always by your side. I really appreciate a movie that doesn’t portray the cat as indifferent or even dark.
I hope he wins an Oscar!
The gray cat in this movie has more charm than all the humans combined and steals every scene he’s in. This is a great show and I’m totally behind it!
